Cliff Cannon Neighborhood Council meetings are open to everyone who lives, works, or owns property in the neighborhood — and to anyone who wants to learn what is happening here. No registration is required; just show up.
When & Where We Meet
We meet on the first Tuesday of every month, except December (unless otherwise noticed), at 6:00 PM at The Woman’s Club of Spokane, 1428 W 9th Ave. The Woman’s Club is an accessible venue within the neighborhood, with a ramped entrance at the front of the building.
How to Participate
- Every meeting includes an open-mic period where any neighbor can speak (about three minutes each) about issues that matter to them.
- You do not need to be a voting member to attend, ask questions, or share your thoughts.
- Agendas are shared ahead of each meeting, and public notice is given at least seven days in advance.
- Meetings follow simple decorum rules so discussion stays respectful, welcoming, and productive.

Bylaws & Governing Documents
The council operates under bylaws adopted by its members, which define membership, meetings, elections, and the role of the Executive Committee. Download the current CCNC Bylaws (PDF) — coming soon. (Editor: upload the bylaws PDF to the Media Library and link it here.)
Community Assembly
Cliff Cannon is represented at Spokane’s citywide Community Assembly, a coalition of neighborhood councils that advises the City. The Community Assembly meets the first Thursday of each month. You can review its agendas and minutes on the City of Spokane Community Assembly page.
